Her journey is a testament to the transformative power of these ideals as she strove to impact the world around her. 

Linda's dedication didn't stop there. Her passion for supporting teachers was a driving force. She recognized educators' pivotal role in shaping the future. Her tireless efforts to provide teacher resources ignited positive change. Linda championed the cause of education, fostering an environment where teachers can thrive. 
 
We dedicate the Teacher Mini-Grant program in her honor.                         
What is the Linda Klingner Mini-Grant program? 
The Linda Klingner Mini-Grant program provides money to defray out-of-pocket costs for K-12 classroom teachers in San Pedro, CA.
What are the selection criteria for the Mini-Grants? 
Members of the Rotary Club of San Pedro will select those requests that, in our opinion, have the greatest need, serve the largest number of students, and have a unique value to a specialized group of students. Requests for materials that can be utilized repeatedly and/or benefit multiple grade levels will be viewed favorably. Special attention will be given to requests with unique educational goals. 
 
You will be notified upon review if your application fails to meet the selection criteria.
What is the amount of the Mini-Grant? 
The dollar amount for the mini-grants is between $75-$350.
How do I apply for the Mini-Grant? 
Click the application link below and complete the questionnaire. Be sure to upload your proof of purchase receipts. 
When will I know if my application has been approved? 
Grant awardees will be notified in October, January, and April
What happens with my application? 
The Grant Committee reviews all applications quarterly. If your application is not selected for the immediate quarter, your application remains active for consideration through the April 1, 2024 deadline. There is no need to reapply unless you're seeking reimbursement for a new and/or different program. 
How will I receive the grant? 
Once selected, you will be contacted by the Grant Committee and will receive the Mini-Grant in person at a regular club meeting or a fellowship event. Our regular club meetings are held at the Elks Lodge, 1748 Cumbre Drive, San Pedro, CA 90732, on the first three Thursdays of the month at noon. Our fellowship events are at a local venue on the 4th or 5th Thursday of the month.
